Loy Hossselton

Dr. Loy Hosselton graduated from the College of Agriculture at SIU Carbondale in 1990, then graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.

Dr Hosselton then returned to his home in the Wayne-Clay county area, where he established Wayne County Veterinary in Fairfield, in 2004 , specializing in both small and large animal medicine. He later became the owner of Flora Veterinary Clinic, also a mixed animal practice.

Dr Hosselton has been married to his wife, Tammy, since 1998 and they have four boys, Casey Aaron, Jesse and Eli. They enjoy working on their farm and ATV riding.

Deb Duquaine

Dr. Deb Duquaine has been an associate at the Flora Veterinary Clinic since 1995. She is grew up in the area (rural Xenia) and attended Flora High School, and then went on to the University of Illinois. She became a veterinarian because she found the work extremely interesting, satisfying, and challenging. She now works mostly with small animals, and especially enjoys senior pet care.

Dr. Duquaine is married to Paul, and has 4 children: Vivian, Max, Sam, and Nolan. She also has 2 dogs (Bisquick and Emmet) several cats (including Morocco, Howie, and Stanley), and a variety of aquarium pets! She currently works part-time at the Flora Veterinary Clinic, home schools her children, and enjoys any free time socializing with friends and family.

Lacey Summerville

Dr. Lacey Summerville is a 2003 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She was raised in rural Clay County and returned to the area in the summer of 2006 to practice veterinary medicine.

While trained as a mixed animal practitioner, her focus in on small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Summerville has been employed by the Flora Veterinary clinic on a part-time status since her first child was born in 2008.

Alison Harvey

Dr. Alison Harvey graduated from West Richland High School of Noble, Illinois in 2002. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2006 from the University of Illinois, majoring in Animal Sciences. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2010.

In June, 2010, Dr. Harvey began working at the Flora Veterinary clinic. She works predominantly with small animals and has special interests in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She is a current member of the Southern Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary medical Association.

In her free time, Dr. Harvey enjoys spending time with her family and antiquing.

Holly Cummins

Dr. Holly Cummins graduated from North Clay High School in Louisville, Illinois in 2003. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2010.

In June of 2010, Dr. Cummins began working at the Flora Veterinary Clinic. Her focus is with small animals and has a special interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is a current member of the Southern Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

In her free time, Dr. Cummins enjoys spending time with her family, fishing and being in the outdoors.

Kate Homann

Dr. Kate Homann was raised in Farmer City IL, a small town outside of Champaign. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2011. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Missouri in 2016.

In May of 2016, Dr. Homann began working at the Flora Veterinary Clinic and Wayne County Veterinary Clinic. She works with both large and small animals and has special interest in reproductive management.

In her free time, Dr. Homann enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
